As part of my job I have to spend time away from home. It's not normally too bad - a couple of nights every couple of weeks. Sometimes I can combine it with a visit to friends or family. If things really work out I can bring the wife.
When I am away by myself I will normally stay locked for the enitre trip except when I am in the gym. In these situations I leave home with a plastic tag (if travelling by air) or coded padlock locking my CB6000S. When I need to get out of the CB I either break the tag or contact the wife for the code. Once I am done in the gym I lock myself back in the CB using another coded padlock (for which I do not know the code) or another plastic tag, depending what is appropriate.
I was away for one night last week and had gone to a gym near my stopover for the night. As usual, I contacted the wife for the code, unlocked myself and completed my session. I was at my locker, fishing out the cage portion of the CB when I dropped it. The impact with the tiled floor split the join and the unit fell into two neat halves! Not good.
